At The White Orchid, we have been busy creating beautiful arrangements for weddings during the month of August.
Although we do weddings throughout the year, Spring and Summer seems to be popular seasons when they all happen.
Most of our brides are young and excited about the whole prospect of getting married and tend to be organised with their wedding arrangements. From mood boards to magazine cut outs, colour swatches of fabrics used for the bridesmaids' dresses to the ties their grooms will be wearing on the special day and the venues booked, they are absolutely focused!
Of course, there are the mums of the brides who are just as interested and committed. They are a source of information, experience and generally hold a wealth of knowledge when it comes to choosing the various elements of a wedding. From stationery, wedding dresses, style of venues and the type of flowers and how they should look in the various arrangements, the mum of the bride plays a vital role in orchestrating the whole experience.
However, we always reassure them that the most important thing to remember is that the wedding is only part of the marriage. It is the beginning of a story between two people who will live together and work hard towards making the marriage a success. Let's wish them all happy rejoicing and may their marriages be long lived and filled with much joy and love.
